What a weekend it was for our CATCH representatives! From the juniors all the way through to the seniors, it was a showcase of determination, growth, and talent. Runs flowed, wickets fell, and our players once again demonstrated the heart and discipline that defines CATCH cricket.
A special highlight came from a CATCH Representative who played in the Khayelitsha U11 side, Uyanda Dubayi delivered a well-constructed and composed innings, scoring a brilliant 52 off 48 balls. His knock was marked by patience, smart shot selection, and confidence beyond his years.
Alongside him, Kungawao Mene anchored the innings with a solid 30 off 50 balls, providing stability and showing great maturity at the crease. Together, their partnership laid a strong foundation and reflected the growth and progress we continue to see in our junior structures.
Weekends like these remind us why we do what we do. The hard work at training, the early morning, late afternoons, and the commitment to improvement are all beginning to bear fruit.
