CATCH Trust UK Tour Squad 2026

The excitement is building at CATCH Trust.

With just 23 days remaining until our UK Tour Squad departs for an unforgettable international experience, we are proud to officially announce the 13 young women who will represent CATCH Trust on tour from 25 June to 8 July 2026.

This tour is about much more than cricket. It is about creating opportunities, broadening horizons, and exposing young people to experiences that can shape their futures. Through sport, we aim to develop leaders, build confidence, and demonstrate what is possible when talent meets opportunity.

The selected squad represents a strong balance of players who have excelled both within our programmes and on the provincial cricket stage. Several members of the squad have represented their provinces at age-group level, while others have gone on to compete at senior provincial level. Together, they embody the commitment, resilience and determination that we value at CATCH Trust.

CATCH Trust UK Tour Squad 2026:

Somila Stofile, Lindokuhle Batyi, Ongezwa Nyakatya, Lisakhanya Blom, Sinelethu Yaso, Refiloe Bomvana, Asekhona Tingatinga, Liyema Damba, Hlumisa Ngada, Liyabona Mjikeliso, Avene Pita, Oyintando Tiso and Amahle Giladile.

Selection for this tour is a significant achievement. Each player has earned her place through dedication, consistent participation, hard work and a willingness to embrace opportunities both on and off the field.

For many of the players, this will be their first opportunity to travel internationally. It is a chance to experience a new country, engage with different cultures, and witness some of the world’s best women’s cricketers competing on the biggest stage.

Following the squad announcement, player Somila Stofile reflected on what the opportunity means to her. “I was excited to see and hear my name being announced, as I have never been to the UK and the opportunity given by CATCH Trust to represent not only them but the community I come from.”

Somila’s words capture exactly why opportunities such as this matter. While the players will be representing CATCH Trust throughout the tour, they will also be carrying the hopes and pride of their families, schools and communities with them.

At CATCH Trust, we believe sport can be a powerful tool for social change. Every training session attended, every challenge overcome, and every opportunity embraced contributes to the growth of young people who are capable of achieving extraordinary things.

As we continue the countdown to departure, we look forward to sharing this journey with our supporters, partners and wider community. The next few weeks will be filled with final preparations, excitement and anticipation as these young women prepare to embark on a life-changing experience.
