An afternoon filled with laughter, joy, and celebration—that was the atmosphere of the Grassroot Soccer (GRS) Skillz Core Graduation.
For those wondering, Grassroot Soccer is an adolescent health organization that harnesses the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize young people to live healthier lives and become agents of change in their communities.
13 of our coaching group were trained up and from there, 5 core CATCH Trust coaches delivered this curriculum to players and participants. The graduation marked the culmination of this journey—a moment where participants, parents, and coaches came together to celebrate both learning and achievement.
The event was alive with dancing, singing, a heartfelt poem, and a special guest appearance. To top it off, special awards were handed out:
- Most Workshops Attended: Alakhe Gonya & Hlumisa Ngada
- Best Participants: Vuyayo Buti & Mivuyo Xhalabile
- Most Improved: Inga Ngcongolo & Thimna Sotyinygwa
